The regular recommended course load for students per semester is the average number of credits, plus or minus two credits. The average number of credits per semester is calculated by dividing the total number of credits in the curriculum by 8. The normal course load for a student may be increased or reduced with the approval of the student’s advisor. However, students in their first registered semester of a diploma program, cannot exceed the regular course load of that semester. Exceeding the regular course load by 8 credits is not allowed. Minimum course load is 9 credits per semester, which can be reduced to 6 credits with the decision of the relevant Executive Board. Students who fulfill the requirements for graduation at the end of maximum two semesters are not subject to this condition.
